FOOD PANTRY

WHAT WE DO

Since 2006, New United Neighbors Development Corp. has provided food, clothing, and other services to people in need who live in Newark and neighboring communities in Essex County. Our diverse client base includes families and singles who are elderly, disabled, homebound, unemployed, or underemployed (working poor). Eligibility is determined using federal guidelines, which base need on income.

WHEN AND WHERE

The Human Needs Food Pantry is located at 487 Orange St., Newark, NJ. We are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 pm  for drop-offs and client pick-ups. (NEW APPLICANTS - Thursdays ONLY)

HOW YOU CAN HELP

A tough economic climate and high unemployment have pushed the demand for emergency and supplemental food to record levels, even as federal benefits are being cut.

That is why the New United Neighbors Development Corp. needs your help, so get involved: Call: 973-350-0567 or visit us on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
